UK Shark Tagging Programme Originally set up and run by Sue and Jerii Drake the programme has now been been passed to Dr Ken Collins who is based at the Southampton Oceanography Centre.
The programme is designed to tag the majority of the shark species found within UK coastal waters.
The site holds information generated from the programme along with the Code of Best Angling Practice for sharks in the British Isles

Shark Trust The Trust was set up in July 1997 to promote the study, conservation and management of sharks, skates and rays in the UK and internationally. The Trust is a member of the European Elasmobranch Association and supports its work. The Shark Trust and other EEA member organisations seek to co-ordinate their efforts to influence and reverse the factors which are threatening the status of shark populations and fisheries, and to promote and carry out research.
